At PrimeLine Products, we offer a full range of these pipe plugs so that you always have what you need for every testing project.
Let’s take a closer look at Cherne’s long test-ball plugs:
Applications
There are two types of Cherne long test-ball plugs as well as additional types of pipeline plug accessories. The original long test-ball plug is ideal for waste stack testing and can be used to seal the wye to conduct sewer air tests. If you need to test a large waste stack pipe, try the MS2. If you’re unsure of which pipeline plug is the best option for your project, we’re always available for assistance.
Specifications
The standard Long Test-Ball Plugs are designed for use in pipes measuring 1.75 to 2.25 inches all the way to 5.75 to 6.25 inches in diameter. They include a 3-foot extension cord and offer compatibility with our pipeline plug tools. Use the MS2 on openings ranging in size from 1.75 to 3.25 inches to 3.5 to 6.25 inches. The MS2 features a 5-foot extension cord. Both types deliver 13 pounds per square inch of pressure.
Advantages
The ribs around these pneumatic pipeline plugs ensure the accuracy of your waste stack testing procedure. These ribs also prevent liquids from splashing when you inflate or deflate the plug. The rubber seals resist corrosion, and they work well in all environments.
Cherne’s long test-ball plugs offer ease of use, safety, and accuracy. As you can inflate them to the desired size, they’ll work on any pipe you need to test.
