LINING RESIN
Quik-Pox™ resin and hardener systems have been developed for the lateral lining business by a custom formulator that has been assisting clients with epoxy systems for over 15 years. Careful consideration has been taken to ensure that the final product meets and exceeds all the ASTM requirements for the CIPP (Cured in Place Pipe) market.
THE MOST VERSATILE AMBIENT CURE RESIN AVAILABLE!
PrimeLiner® Resin is a patented two-component ambient-cure silicate lining resin ideally suited for use in applications such as lateral lining, manhole rehabilitation, and other applications requiring a highly chemical-resistant material. Components A and B easily mix together to form a low viscosity material which can be used to quickly and easily impregnate materials such as felt and fiberglass. The pot life and setting time of PrimeLiner® Resin are very consistent to allow plenty of time for impregnation and insertion of the composite while providing reasonably fast final cure to aid in job efficiency.
PrimeLiner® Resin has very unique characteristics. It hardens well underwater and in the presence of sufficient pressure, will bond quite well to traditional construction materials even when totally submerged. It is also self-extinguishing in that neither the two components nor the final mixture or hardened resin will sustain combustion.
IDEAL FOR USE IN TRENCHLESS PROJECTS SUCH AS:
PrimeLiner® Resin emits no harmful vapors and presents only a very slight chemical odor. By using certain fillers such as chopped fiberglass or carbon powder, very thick applications may be sprayed onto vertical surfaces without risk of sagging. Pot life of the resin may be adjusted to between 15 and 90 minutes with a resulting cure time of 1 to 7 hours.
